Dear colleagues,
Thanks for all your efforts for hunting down temperature controlled truck outside the scope of pharmaceutical transport use. We have seen trucks mainly used for the food. In relation to the first hunt, I would like to suggest one video from Kevin O'Donnell, a cold chain parable, "There once was a woman from Pleasanttown". Kevin delivered this talk on 23 October 2013 in Geneva as part of the TALKSPOT series I was organizing. It is rare that a story centered around maintaining the pharmaceutical cold chain can be so compelling as to leave an indelible impression on those who have heard the story told. Please watch (duration 19:52 min). https://vimeo.com/58977765. If you have any problem viewing the video, please let me know, so I put the Plan B into action.
The second Scavenger Hunt will be examples of different types of "heat transfer" but again outside the scope of pharmaceutical cold chain.
Looking forward examples of conduction, convection and radiation heat transfer photographs. When you post your photograph(s), please do not forget to explain what type of heat transfer you hunted (can you fit all three concepts in one photograph?). Also give some background on the picture taking. Please use all your creativity in hunting interesting concepts.
Here is a video to inspire you - put together by Kevin.
Looking forward to see your photographs.
Good luck and cheers...
